WLi Sponsors First Annual QC-Kite Festival

WLi’s own James Patten worked for the past year to develop the first annual QC-Kite Festival. Held September 19th and 20th , 2009, this event attracted well over a thousand people. Kit flyers were there from over 5 states. Darryl Waters from Michigan brought the largest kite with over a 40 foot wing span. This was the first time it was flown in the United States. Free kids kite building and stunt kite performances were among the many activities. James was able to recruit a number of partners in this program including Genesis Hospital, D1, Scott County YMCA and the City of Davenport. “WLi was pleased to be supporter of this program and to provide James with the time to create this new hopefully annual event for the Quad Cities,” said Larry Patten President of WLi. “By the response we received, I am certain this will become an annual event,” said James Patten.

WLi moved into a new suite of offices in the Per Mar building at 1910 East Kimberly Road in Davenport Iowa. WLi was joined by the Davenport One ambassadors to cut the ribbon celebrating the new offices and expansion of World Leadership Institute. “This is a tremendous honor to have Davenport One host this event,” Said James Patten Vice President of WLi. “This new suite of office is the staging we need to prepare for our roll out of new programs this fall,” said Larry Patten, President of WLi. “One of the great features is the conference room where we can host up to 10 people in personal development programs.”

Larry Met with a number of visitors and spoke about his Champion Series including, Living As A Champion, Champion Health, Spiritual Champion, and Strategic Organizational Development. He also talked about his two novels, Rondine Solution and Count Down to Eternity.
