Direction sets the Framework for the Future.
Establishing a Strategic Organizational Framework™ provides parameters for your stakeholders by setting a new Direction for effective execution toward the desired outcomes.
The Strategic Organizational Framework™ goes beyond the more traditional concepts of mission, vision, and core values by providing the essential business elements required for your organization to become a true champion. This framework provides a clear Direction so your organization can reach Champion status.
Strategic Organizational Framework™ is comprised of four key elements – (Purpose, Principles, Pathways and Partners)™.
Purpose
The ‘Cornerstone’ of purpose sets the core definition of the organization answering the questing “who is it your organizations says that it is.” This purpose statement defines the who, what, and why of the organization. Clearly defining ‘who it is that the organization says it is’ is critical to assuring that everything that follows is in alignment. Whereas the Mission statement is designed to communicate to the organization’s external audience, the purpose narrative is an internal document that provides guidance to all its internal stakeholders.
Principles
Principles are the ‘Touch Stones’ that become the unbreakable rules set forth by the organization to establish the proper behavior for everyone that works with or for the organization. . The organization’s principles become its ‘code of ethics’ to which all members of the organization must uphold.
Pathways
Pathways are the road map for your organization assuring that it reaches the outcomes it desires in the years to come.
Your pathway must begin with a Vision narrative. This Vision narrative provides a detailed explanation of where your organization will be at some designated point in the future. From this narrative, milestones are identified and defined. These milestones are then broken into initiatives, which become the organization’s step-by-step program for success which contains the metrics by which we will measure success. The initiatives will be driven by the organization’s people who have learned how to align their individual goal directed action with the needs of the organization.
Partners
Because you’re not going to do everything yourself, identifying your internal and external partners are important to ensuring success. The Strategic Organizational Framework must contain a section that helps your potential partners and helps develop a plan of action to assure a positive relationship with all partners. In this section of the program, we will assist you in developing a Partner Plan of Action™ that will assure these important relationships are maintained.
