Corporate

Today’s corporations must focus on maximizing performance as well as achieving strategies. This requires that everyone agree on what matters most.

Small Business

Often operating under more challenging circumstances, Small Businesses must do more with less. The importance of a solid foundation for growth has never been more important.

Non-Profit

Non profits today need to be certain that they have a strong foundation, a clear framework for the future and the power to meet the tasks ahead.

Scott County Family YMCA

Dealing with Tactical Issues

The Scott County Family YMCA movement is dedicated to creating positive, proactive development for every citizen in the community. Their work is achieved through the action of nearly 50,000 individuals who are members, volunteers, employees and program participants. Their success is dependent upon a humble appreciation and gratitude for the interlocking relationships between every person in their community as they strive to develop positive associations and fundamentally strong organizations that will drive them headlong into the future based on a healthier spirit, mind and body for all.

Even though the Scott County YMCA had enjoyed tremendous success over the past few years, Frank Klipsch, president of the Scott County Family YMCA realized he needed to use that success to move the YMCA forward to provide even greater service to the community. Being a non-profit community service organization, assuring that all the constituency groups were aligned was critically important. The WLi Tactical Alignment Program was used by the Scott County YMCA to provide Frank with an understanding of what the stakeholders felt were the most important issues facing the organization. The program uncovered a number of critical issues that needed to be addressed if future planning was to be successful in reaching new levels of success. As Frank puts it, “It worked like a charm.” He went on to comment, “… it gave us a clear set of process we had to put in place to assure that we could sustain the operations that we had now created.” The Scott County YMCA also used a number of other WLi programs including our Champion Sales Program.
